Over the past decade our intercoolers have become extremely popular within the Cummins community. This is designed for the 1994 - 2002 Dodge Ram Cummins turbo diesel trucks. In testing, we saw massive reductions in Intake air temps. This helps to increase power, engine efficiency, and even reduced turbo spool time!
A QUESTION ASKED FAR TOO MUCH, is this unit a factory replacement or more of a performance related product? We designed this kit with performance being the main goal, it is vastly superior to the stock intercooler in every way and is used by many people pulling, drag racing as well as typical street driving duties.. It doesn't matter if you have a stock truck that occasionally tows, or an all out race truck, this intercooler is perfect for every combo.
This core is 3" thick with 3" inlet and outlets on the intercooler. The actual core size is 17.75" tall and its 36" wide.
Our THICK Cast Aluminum end-tanks are Extremely Strong!!! FirePunk Diesel has ran 120+psi on our 3rd Gen Intercooler!!
With this intercooler, you will need 45 degree 3" silicone coupler Kit to adapt this intercooler to fit up properly.
