Properly Straighten Out Shipping Bends from Your New Brake and Fuel Lines
When you receive the new prebent fuel lines or brake lines for your car or truck you will see a couple of extra bends placed in in the line for convenient shipping purposes. These "extra bends" are also important to prevent extra damage that could occur to your new vehicle lines in shipping.
This short instructional video will show you the proper way to remove these extra shipping bends from your prebent brake and fuel lines.
Step 1: Locate the "Remove Bend Sticker" on your prebent vehicle line.
Step 2: Use a solid surface like a concrete floor, tile floor, or hard wood surface. Place one hand on each end of the bend and press it outward as seen on the video.
Step 3: Gently, by hand finish restoring the prebent fuel or brake line to its intended shape and configuration.
Step 4: Install the new prebent brake line or fuel line on your car or truck.
