Ranger 2003 intermediate stainless brake line.
Ordered the stainless intermediate brake lines. The bends, fittings, and outer coils all look great. It was a tough job removing the old rusted lines. I thought installation was going to difficult. It went easier than expected. Small frame cover was removed by left exhaust manifold, which helped installation. Forward half tube was routed from bottom. Had to remove factory nipple fitting from ABS valve so new tube fitting could install directly into valve, like the adjacent master cylinder tube. Rear half line was fed from rear. I thought the fuel tank would need loosened or dropped to route line. Was able to feed line through without disturbing fuel tank. The two forward bends had to be unbent slightly to help routing. The last approximate 6 inches fwd, a screwdriver was inserted in square frame holes for tubing brackets to help guide tube. Consider using coat hangers or electrical tape line during removal, to pull new line through. After routing, was able to bend back the forward two bends of rear line half. Good looking lines. Install went better than expected. The lines closely matched the factory clamping points. I should've purchased the rear axle lines at the same time. Will be ordering them soon. The forward engine compartment lines were replaced a couple years ago. If ordering lines, spend the extra money and get the complete set. It would be worth it due to the quality, and time saved from bending and sourcing parts. Good product! And Ohio USA made!
